The Wind That Shakes the Barley

Hi! Today I’m going to talk/write about the film “The Wind That Shakes the Barley”, is a war drama film and was directed by Ken Loach. This film was performing for the first time Cannes Film Festival 2006. The movie won Palme d'Or that same year. I liked the movie. Aesthetically it is very nice, but it was difficult to understand, maybe because I arrived a little late to see it. This movie is very long and maybe it could bore someone. I liked the characters and the atmosphere very much. My favorite scene was a soldier freed them, saying that he could not carry that in his conscience. I liked seeing how the soldier didn’t forget his humanity. He was brave. Also I “liked” (was SO sad) when one of the brothers is tortured and then taken to the other prisoners, there was his brother. His brother cried and told him that he was the best person he had ever met L . My favorite character was Damien O'Donovan. He’s consistent and brave. I really liked that character.

H i! Today I'm going to talk about the best vacation ever. In February 2014, I went to San Pedro de Atacama with my dad and my sis. In this summer, we traveled for the north. We were in Copiapó, Antofagasta, Iquique and San Pedro. I was so happy because I love the north. I want to live there someday. In San Pedro de Atacama, we went out in the night eat to any rustic restaurant. In the morning, we went to tourist places. For example, Laguna Cejar, the Geysers of the Tatio and the Valle de la Luna. The latter, is my favorite place in the travel. This place is magic and SO amazing. But not all can be perfect, the last night in San Pedro I got sick L . Sorry dad, sorry sis. This was the first vacation with my dad and my sis. Only the three and this is special for us. With my sister and my mom we have other vacations and also are magical.  Machuca is a small Andean village with a village of 20 houses and located a few kilometers from San Pedro de Atacama. Hello! Today I will talk about which country I would like to meet and the winner is (drum roll): MEXICO. Yes, Mexico. To be honest I don't know why it has always called my attention, but it must be for its food (exquisite) and the sympathy of the Mexicans. I want to go and eat tacos all day, without stopping. I like Mexico since I was a girl when my dad went on a trip and I brought nice, colorful things. I remember that time I said: "I have to go there." To this day I ask him how he is and how people are. I don't know much about Mexico. I only know that it has wonderful landscapes and I love that. For example, Puebla is a very nice place full of life. Also, the Mayan ruins. I just liked to travel and travel, but not live or study there. Maybe it would be a good place to practice journalism. Someday I will go to Mexico. Bye!
